- Test capacitors and contactors under load
- Measure amp draw against manufacturer spec
- Verify refrigerant charge by superheat and subcooling
- Wash and inspect the condenser coil
- Inspect the evaporator coil for restriction
- Check and clear the condensate drain and float switch
